Photoshop 25.7
Glow Effect can create a soft, luminousot aura around an object, creating the illusion of light emitting from or surrounding it. Here is how to apply a glow effect to a photo.
Launch Adobe Photoshop and open the image you want to edit.
In the Layers panel, right-click on the background layer and select "Duplicate Layer."
With the duplicated layer selected, go to Filter > Blur > Gaussian Blur in Tool Bar.
In the Gaussian Blur dialog box, adjust the Radius slider until you achieve the desired level of blur intensity. Then click “OK”
Change the blend mode of the duplicated layer to "Screen" from the dropdown menu in the Layers panel.
If needed, reduce the opacity of the duplicated layer to make the glow effect more subtle.
Preview the effect in the document window and double click “Gaussian Blur” affect under your glow layer for further adjustments as necessary.
If satisfied, merge the duplicated layer with the original background layer.
Save your edited image.
Export the image in “Share > Export > Export As” for your desired use.
